'In IT and call center industries, people both man and women get a chance to know each other, be with each other for some months/ years and understand well and they get married after a long period of time, but their marriages never even last for more than 3 to 6 months, what is the reason behind this?
Sadhguru's answer: People get into relationships because of needs, needs can be bodily(which results in Kamam(lust)), it can be Emotional(which leads to attachment), it can be from the mind and heart( which leads to care (habits, sharing same interests, likes,dislikes etc).
When there is an imbalance in any of these, the relationship breaks.
Any relationship can grow stronger only when people grow out of their needs, one cannot be with a person just because they understand you or they are spiritual and you are also spiritual, only when the desire to like and love someone beyond the need comes, relationships become stable and matured. We should not get married because of our needs, but we should overcome that need and accept the person as they are and still show the same love and affection to that person.
